This is a cute dinosaur. The tail doesn't stay on very well, but it's not a big problem. The lamp makes a really nice "rotating galaxy" projection on the ceiling. I really like how the head can rotate in any direction, including straight UP, which is very nice. To get that flexibility, there is a black 'cable' between the body and head which they hide in the product photos - be aware that it is there. The only other downside of this is that it doesn't project a very wide angle, so you need a very tall ceiling or this doesn't fill much of the ceiling. We use this along with another projector - this one creates the "galaxy" and the other one fills the entire ceiling.

This is a great projector/night light for kidsI got this for my little nephew and he was immediately obsessed with it. He is at that little boy stage where he loves anything dinosaur related, so this was perfectIt's super easy to set up, thankfully, though it does need to be plugged in to run. Also requires a USB wall plug, which is not included, and the only reason I don't give it 5 stars. Just plug it in and turn it on. The dinosaur head can be posed at different angles, which is fun. You can put it on the floor, the ceiling, the wall.There are lots of different color light modes and the option to add stars (super cute), all controlled easily with the remote. You can adjust brightness as well, and it makes a great night lightIt also makes fun lighting for a play room, especially in the winter while it's so darkIt really looks like gorgeous galactic clouds. This dinosaur design gives maybe a little smaller projection than other open-bulb designs I've used, but it is perfect for kidsAny kid will get far more than $20 of enjoyment from this, makes a great gift.
