Organic
Organic pads provide very high braking power in a lower temperature range. This makes them ideal for use in flatter areas or on less intense descents. Organic pads are also the quietest.

Semi - Metallic
Combining organic and metallic compounds creates a brake pad that is more heat resistant while offering the strong initial bite of an organic pad. Semi-metallic pads are perfect for cross country, enduro, and trail riding in all weather conditions. Suitable for e-bike use.
Sintered
A fully metallic compound offers extremely high heat-resistance, making them ideal for long, steep downhill sections. While noiser, metallic pads provide the strongest amount of braking power.
Performance Comparison
How do I install my brake pads?
- Clean disc caliper and surrounding area if necessary.
- Remove used disc pads and clean any remaining dirt from behind the pad.
- It is advisable to completely clean and de-grease all brake components and disc braking surfaces before fitting your new pads.
- The brake pistons should be retraced to their maximum adjustment.
- Install your new disc pads and fit new retaining clips/spring, if possible.
- Check and tighten all mountings and fixings according to the manufacturers specification.
*If you have any doubt that you're not able to install and setup your disc pads correctly, we recommend you have the new parts fitted by a qualified mechanic at your local bike shop.

I replaced my Magura resin pads that were complete crap with these, and got a marginal gain in braking power. They work well for the first couple minutes of a steep downhill. It may have been the long double black trail I tested these on in Colorado, but they heated up and started squealing very very quickly. I have used many other brands of pads, and never quite heard any as loud. The performance was consistent though. I will deal with the sound until they wear out, and be trying another brand next time around.

Best wearing and stopping power available; I have tried everything out there. They grab "cold" well for stunting/long wheelies and do not over heat/fade like 99% of the competition under extreme abuse. I have burnt the paint off (cosmetic) a set bombing nasty single track with my 120lb Surron and my 200lbs on top; but they didn't fail or fade and thats what matters. I will ALWAYS come back for these; I am searching for a rotor that will not warp from the extreme stopping power these pads can dish out. Miles has literally saved my life/body time and time again, brakes are no joke bombing 300+ pounds at 40MPH+ down dirt/rock trails and I completely TRUST these pads. A++ 11/10
