A hit with my 4 year olds! They love it. They are big on doing art and drawing/writing. This was enough novelty to entertain them while they practice their writing and drawing skills . They love using it to play teacher. It is pretty easy to clean. I wouldn't consider it portable but it would not be hard to move around. Mess free art opportunity, and fun to have around the house

It's actually a really cool idea with the glow up portion. I kids love playing with it. I just wish the stand itself is a bit more sturdy so it doesn't get knocked down between multiple kids. But overall works really well and keep toddlers attentive for quite a long time.

My 2 and 7 year old love using this easel. It is very light so they move it all around the house. The markers are ok. I really like that it is double sided. The kids can play together but still have there own space.Easy to clean and use.

So as far as assembly I will say this, my 7 y/o put this together himself. He grew tired of waiting on us to assemble it and started assembling it himself. We only knew when he came to ask a question about the placement of a piece. He did a great job with very minimal support. It is lightweight plastic and my boys seem to have fun with it. I will say, like any other toy, their interest in it ebbs and flows. I do like that my 2, 4, and 7 y/o can all all play with and enjoy it.

Thought the screen side would be like an etch a scetch instead it’s a screen with washable markers Disappointed

This dual sided easel is an amazing addition to any kid’s arts and crafts collection. The light board side is a standout feature, it’s fun for kids to see their drawings glow with the neon dry erase markers included in the set. The whiteboard side is equally useful for regular doodling or practicing letters and numbers. The detachable drawing tablet is a nice touch, allowing kids to take their creativity off the easel if they want. The overall build feels well designed, making it perfect for the floor use. The markers are vibrant, easy to erase, and a big hit with little ones. It’s the perfect size for kids, with plenty of space for drawing without taking up too much room.

I ordered this easel because my 2 daughters are constantly fighting over our other art easel, and I thought that this "glow" easel looked pretty cool. I wasn't impressed basically straight out of the box. This easel has 2 different sides, a regular dry erase board and the side that lights up. The dry erase and the "glow" side are both pretty small, but my biggest problem was getting the batteries in. This easel takes 3 AA batteries. The screws that hold the battery cover in place are so small and so deep, that I striped one of the screws while trying to put the cover back on after putting the batteries in. The batteries are also difficult to get in. The first 2 are easy, but there is barely enough room for the 3rd. Once I got them in, I screwed the cover back on and then realized it wasn't turning on, so I had to unscrew the cover to fix the batteries. That's when I realized I had completely striped one of the screws. I had to shove the batteries in place with only one side of the cover open. I finally got them in, but I'll never be able to change the batteries again now. With the exception of putting in the batteries, it was very easy to put the easel together. It comes with 6 pastel colored dry erase markers. They're very small and thin, so I don't expect them to last very long. I can't imagine there's very much ink in them. I like that the easel has a small shelf to store the pens in, though. I found out pretty quickly that I wasn't impressed with the "glow" side of the easel. When the lights are turned off and that side is just black, the pastel colored drawings look pretty cool. When the light is turned on, almost all of the colors just look red, because the lights are red. You have the ability to change the way the board lights up. There are around 6 little lights on the left and right of the black side. You can choose to have the whole board lit, or you can have the lights turn on from top to bottom, or starting on the inside and working out, or from out to in, etc. The biggest issue is trying to erase whatever you've drawn on the "glow" side. I used a microfiber cloth and it took forever to erase the marker. It was covered in streaks, so I just kept having to wipe over and over until they were gone. I don't think this easel is worth the full price they are asking for on Amazon. It's cheap plastic with cheap markers. It's not something I would order again.

The good of this thing is that the glow feature works a lot better than I expected and is really awesome. The colors really ✨pop✨ and my 3yo gets a huge kick out of it. It’s thin and easy to store, which is nice. Other kid’s easels usually take up SO much space so I like that this one is so compact. I also like that it has the two different sides to draw on, as well as a clip so you can put a piece of paper on it and use it as a traditional easel. Now on to the bad of it. It is SO, SO, SOOOO difficult to erase. We tried a regular whiteboard eraser, dry cloth, dry paper towel, baby wipes—the wipes were the worst because they basically just smeared it around. The dry erase marker *did* take it off, but my fiancé had to do it and he had to use some elbow grease. The rest did nothing. I’m gonna purchase some white board cleaner and hope that makes it a bit easier. The board is also pretty difficult to get off the legs, definitely not something my toddler can do herself.Overall I suppose it’s an alright toy. I don’t know as though I’d recommend it to others, but I’ll definitely keep it around as long as my daughter is interested in it.
