Good lecterns are expensive. This is neither. We hoped to have found a suitable low cost unit. None of the hardware provided worked with our unit. The stems of the adjustable feet are way to thick or the welded nuts are too small. Either way, we had to use M6 bolts to attach rubber grommet feet to the base. The assembly screws also didn't work. Luckily we have a fully stocked metal shop at our organization and our metal workers were able to assemble the unit. I would not consider this unit "heavy duty." There are imperfections in where it appears a grinder was used before painting. Overall, meh. It works and is worth the price if you are handy and willing to DIY the assembly.

This podium is perfect. Very easy to assemble; 8 screws, then attach the four feet. All the holes lined up perfectly. The podium is very sturdy and has some weight to it. Very nice black finish. I was certainly skeptical about this product based on the reviews. Bought it anyway based on the design and price. VERY happy with the purchase. No issues.

Needed a pulpit for the lawn, music stands did not cut it. This pulpit is lightweight but sturdy. The shelf is a plus. Very attractive, but functional.

This is a very sturdy item. Two concerns: 1 - It seems to be a bit too tall for the average user. With a laptop open on it, the average user will be mostly invisible! 2 - The screws to attach the three pieces together are these tiny machine screws that hardly seem strong enough for the weight of this lectern. I used heavier ones just to be sure they won't pop off when the lectern is moved.

nice lectern although the top is a bit narrower than I expected. It was easy to assemble and pretty solid otherwise.
