It is very absorbent. Unfortunately it needs to be twice the size to be practical. Will this absorb pee? Yes, but will it absorb all the pee? I can place one of these under my kid in a stroller or in their bouncy seat but the chance of preventing a mess with this is close to zero. Messes happen. These definitely are absorbent little pads. They're rough feeling so definitely would not want to use them against skin. They're just too small, in my opinion.

This pad is convenient, practical, and portable. It has good water absorption and feels solid. The downside is that the paper is too hard.

These are great. I hate cleaning little potties. Blah! But this and a regular small trash bag makes clean up so easy. It absorbs so much all I do I grab the bag and toss it. No leaking urine everywhere. I have twins so this make it so much easier.
