My 7 year old broke this twice in 5 minutes. He's 7, not Messi, and his kicks first broke the rope crimp. My husband was able to take it to the garage and fix it in a few minutes. After that, the loop that is attached to the ball broke after a couple of minutes. It is now in the trash and I will be getting him something else...
