I purchased these to use for halloween to add to my decorations. They worked for about an hour before they overheated, and would no longer work, would not recommend

Pics 1&2 was as received. Being very inexpensive, as expected the brackets are rather thin - still useful, but bend at the slightest touch. Notice in pic 3 that the IR sensor is on the face (replacing one of the faceplate assembly screws) and somewhat recessed - therefore the remote control has to be rather much aimed directly at the face of the fixture to be used.Pic 4 is an internal view showing the first issue - the power supply circuit board being held in place by a single screw into a plastic post. This is not the safest construction in my view. Pic 5 is the IR sensor held in place by hot melt glue - not sure how long that will last. Pics 6&7 are my biggest concern. The AC power wires are soldered to the bottom of the circuit board, and could have easily been placed into a connector that mated with the connector already mounted on the top of the circuit board. This is unfortunately a common practice with many imports and is very bad/unsafe manufacturing technique - and probably save a whole $0.05. I will retrofit mine with a proper connector with crimp pins.Pic 8 is a view of the LED board utilizing the new technology of surface mount LEDs. They are not as powerful (only 1-watt each) as the older technology (at 3-watts each), but generate far less heat - hence the lack of a cooling fan - which is not needed in this fixture as it gets barely warm.Pic 9 is a copy of the very simplistic user manual which contains all that is really needed.The this fixture is not as powerful as most units that are larger and more expensive, but certainly quite cost effective.......assuming your expectations are appropriate the amount of light output. The remote control was responsive and all functions worked properly, as did the DMX control which matched the user guide. The fade process was smooth. The LED manual control has some odd designations for fade, vs pulse, etc. but after a few minutes of playing around with it, all operations become obvious. Master/Slave function works properly. Four separate remote controls are included for the 4 fixtures!I only wish that they took more care on the safety issue with AC wiring and power supply mounting - SO DON'T DROP IT! Therefore the 4-stars is VERY generous. IMHO

These are legit lights. Got them to add to my DJ display. Love the remote controls and the sound activated movement. It really ups the professionalism of my DJing.Bright and do exactly what I need them to do. I'm very happy with them. If you are looking for some stage lights these are the ones you should get. (I love how they come with a 4 pack.)Highly recommended!
