I had Scilogex vortex mixer that i misplaced and replaced with this one since it was cheaper. it seems to be the same mixer just from a chinese company. Anyway it feels solid, has adjustible speeds, touch to start or on/off, if you needed the flat top base for like an erlenmeyer flask you can use the one that scilogex sells (the more expensive flat top, the cheaper one doesnt fit the square support underneath the pad) otherwise the one it comes with is fine for tubes up to 50ul im guessing (thats about how big the well looks). oh last thing, the flat pad and the one it comes with are hard plastic, not rubber. just fyiAnyway i also use one to mix craft/hobby paints so if you are into that, this will do it. works better with the 15ml bottles that they have here on amazon or the vallejo/p3 bottles. GW pots are too fat and wont fit (unless you have the flat top base on the mixer).lastly, again if you have the flat top attachment, can be used to mix unruly sauce bottles, drinks, and all other sorts of kitchen and food accoutrements.10/10 love this thing. hope the review helps. i was also wary of buying it since there were no reviews but i got lucky and its a solid piece.bought directly from amazon and shipped by them also.
