Purchased to save my kids broken crayons and re purpose them. They are too flimsy and when pulling them from the oven they spill everywhere. I’ve tried several times and ultimately I’m so annoyed with how much of a mess it makes. If you fill up below the top the crayons are too thin and break when used. If the silicone mold was thicker I think it would work much better!

FYI some crayons are a no melt crayon. so they just sit there not forming to the mold. Hiw donyou know if a crayons is no melt. I have no clue!

I am currently using these in my classroom to take the older crayons that are breaking to create new ones. My students are constantly asking how I make a new crayon out of the older ones. I was surprised on how durable the molds are, I have yet to find the best way to clean them which is more on me. They are slightly larger than I was expecting which is fine, absolutely love them.
