I can’t help it. I am addicted to yarn. In this case, thread. I love the colors, the feel of it running through my fingers as I create something I love. I crochet. I bought this thread to turn a pair of flip-flops into a cute summer slip-on with a rose at the center. this yarn is lovely, color is consistent through out. It does not split when handled, and is a solid string - no factory cuts and joins. DMC is always a trusted brand when I chose my thread. When you are creating something for your friend and family that takes an extensive amount of time and energy, put your investment into a dependable thread.

I love this cotton for knit and crochet, and I highly recommend it DMC has a long reputation for producing fine threads in glorious colors. Petra is an excellent mid-weight cotton thread for making lacy summer shawls and cardigans that drape nicely. It's smooth and strong, doesn't kink or pill or shed. I've used it in two colors, and I've just put more in my cart. I can't comment on colorfastness or shrinkage because I haven't yet washed it, but I hand-wash and air-dry all my hand-made knit and crochet items, which minimizes shrinking, color fading, and ravage by lace-eating machinery.
