Both packages were ripped open No way it happened in shipping I had to repackage everything to make sure all parts were there. Seems like a decent product.

Had a tiny pin hole leak in a copper water pipe under my house. Was dreading trying to get under the crawl space to cut the pipe and add shark bites. I took a gamble and ordered this clamp. I decided to try it with out, without shutting off the main water line. It actually worked. I was shocked. Stopped the leak really fast. The clamps are much more heavy duty than I had anticipated. Which is great! Granted, I added the clamps to the leak last night and then checked it this morning. No leak. If it doesn’t last, I will update the review but it did stop a pin hole leak spraying water all over the insulation in a pinch. It was super easy to install. You need a screw driver and a pair of pliers to hold the nut.

My ac installer bent one of the copper pipes in his install and wouldn’t fix it and move the pipes as “it would break” so I bought this to support that area and stop the pipe moving as I fixed his mess.. worked like a charm

None of us anticipate pipes bursting in the crawl space of our homes, but that’s exactly what happened to me. A copper water supply line developed a pin hole and leaked water for a significant amount of time, before I noticed water coming into my garage. Being 70 years old and having little experience with plumbing problems, I made a temporary repair repair and ordered the special clamp from Amazon. It arrived quickly and I fixed my problem quickly. The reason I didn’t call a plumber is because that week, someone ran into my garage door, which made it fall down, so that had to be taken care of quickly. And, on the same day, my washing machine decided to quit working, although I had it for only 3 years. So that also became a priority. So, living on a fixed income in retirement, that ingenious clamp saved me some money since I didn’t have to call a plumber out to the house. Honestly, I would recommend having that clamp and keeping it handy in the event you ever have a similar problem. The same thing happened to me a long time ago when I went on a vacation. When I returned home, I could hear what sounded like a geyser under my house, (a different one) and the floor above it was already warped. So, you just never know!
