I purchased these for my spa treatment room door. I've only used them indoors, so I can't speak to durability in the elements. It rarely gets caught as I'm coming in and out of my room and it looks nice to inform clients to not interrupt a session in progress. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy to me.

Cute design. Will come in handy for travel. The last hotel we stayed at didn't have a door sign so I had to improvise with notebook paper! They seem very sturdy and can't wait to try them out on our next overnight stay!

I gave these to my daughter who works from home. She hangs one from her doorknob when she has a meeting so I'll know not to disturb her and keep the dogs quiet.

My family no longer run in the room screaming because they see the sign in the door . It’s the little things that matter. :)

My bathroom door doesn't lock and I didn't feel like spending 30 bucks or so on a new door knob. These are very thick and sturdy. They'll work perfectly!

Where I live there are a lot of people walking the neighborhood trying to get us to clean our carpets or join their organization or donate to some cause. Frankly our cat Wolfie can't handle hearing the doorbell. It literally freaks him out so bad that he goes under the bed to hide.So finally I got a cover for the doorbell and put this sign on the door. Because even with sticky notes on the doorbell people were still knocking. It is like HELLO people, don't disturb!Well no one has knocked or rung the doorbell in a day so that is a good sign. Wolfie is much happier and I don't have to worry about who is out front by our door while I look anxiously out the window. lolThese signs would also be good for indoors but they are very sturdy for outside a front door too. This matches my front mat with the ocean theme so I'm happy. You can easily remove this sign and put it on the inside of the door if you have repairmen coming by to fix something. To your peace of mind,~The Rebecca ReviewP.S. Something funny happened. I took the door hanger off the door for a few days and then I put it back on. Then I noticed everyone was knocking again. It took me a few days to realize that I'd put the hanger on backwards and it was telling people to please knock! So one side says not to knock while the other side says to go ahead and knock!P.S. 2 - When the wind blows as it does around my house I hear this knocking around on the door. So to stop that I put a piece of packaging tape underneath and pressed it against the door. Be careful with paint but so far that has solved an issue for me. Otherwise I hear it rattling around day and night, night and day!

It would be better to also have an unoccupied sign on the other side of the occupied sign.
