Bought these fire my dad a few yrs ago and had to order again. He loves them and had horrible pvd. He took them in to lymphatic clinic and they gave him the approval that they were perfect for his need. Good quality and hold up for yrs in the wash.

I like that I’ve found these to do the trick in permanently(so far) reducing swelling in my lower left leg. This took 4 days when swelling has gone on since I was 27. I’m now 72. My Dr advised me to get XL size as I needed support not circulation cut off. I had a DVT and have varicose veins. I’ve ordered these 3x because I wanted to be sure I always have some. I have 8pr. I need only for one leg. My advice: Ask Dr before buying as I did. They will tell you to buy a size or two bigger. Thank you ever so much for a great product

I have a long history of swelling in my left ankle. It dates back to a crazy fun night in New Orleans almost 20 years ago! I was bitten by some sort of spider and got a massive infection and terrible cellulitis on the inside of my left ankle. Wow that was not pretty. My leg was dark purple and black, and it hurt so badly that I could feel my heartbeat in my ankle!! I do not recommend this!!!So, as a result of one of the most fun trips ever in my entire life, I’ve needed to deal with the occasional swelling on my left ankle for many years. At first I didn’t even know I could buy compression socks, and I was wrapping an ace bandage around it. Silly me. Then I started running marathons, and I realized that dang near everybody on the course was wearing compression socks! Before compression socks became so common, I spent way too much money on them, and they weren’t as nice as these are. Over the years I’ve tried many brands, and these are my absolute favorite. I now refuse to buy any other brand. I like these the best for several reasons:1) Theyre not itchy!!!! I will admit that I don’t like socks. Yes, there’s probably something wrong with me, but I would rather not wear socks ever again in my life. Most socks make me itch like crazy. But if I have to wear them, it’s going to be this brand of compression socks.2) They’re the easiest brand to put on. Since they’re silky, they go over my legs much more easily than the kinds that aren’t as silky.3) The toeless version of this sock fits better than any of the other available toeless brands. It is open just enough to stay all the way down on my foot, but lets all of my toes hang out. Unlike other brands, these never ride up or end up getting bunched up somewhere under my instep. I like the toeless ones because I can wear my beloved flip flops with no issues. Also, they’re more comfortable at night. Due to running so many marathons, my big toes are weird, and they get sensitive if I wear socks for long periods of time.4) These are comfortable in a hot and humid climate. Or while exercising. Or while stuck on a plane in the sardine can we call coach class for a long flight. I think it’s because they’re made from nylon that is breathable. They just don’t get gross and annoying and itchy like the non-silky brands do. I guess it’s also because they’re not very thick. Even though they have some very heavy duty compression, they seem more like a thick pantyhose type material than a regular sock material.5) They’re exactly the right length. Some other brands I’ve tried were way too long and could’ve gone past my knee, even though they were the right width for my calves. I’m 5’ 7.5” with thin calves for my body size, if this matters. Not sure it does.6) The band at the top, as well as the bottom part on the toeless version, is not tight or binding at all. There is an art to putting them on and making sure the material is spread out on your legs evenly in order to avoid having areas that are too tight, but once that’s correct, the band is very comfortable. That’s it! Those are all the reasons I love these socks. If you’re going to go have a wild time in New Orleans and get bitten by a spider, do yourself a favor and buy these socks.I do wish the toeless ones came in more exciting colors and patterns, but I’ll pull through. Maybe the company will read my review and learn of my love affair with their socks, and become inspired to produce some toeless ones in more patterns?

Previously I had only used 15-20 strength support hose and they were OK. I have some pretty large varicose veins in my legs, even though I am at a perfect weight and very active. Without some type of support hose,my ankles and frequently my knees would swell. The 15-20 strength hose had toes in them and because injuries from a motorcycle accident mandate additional treatment ands support of my big toe and the ball of my foot, the tip of my my big toe would frequently be sore, especially if I was really active. These toeless variety work well and the 20-30 strength hose help to make my legs less tired at the end of a long day on my feet, than the 15-20 did.I was a bit concerned that these might be too loose but they are not at all, even though my calf measured at the small extreme of this size. The only slight issue I had was that they seem a bit long for the length of my calf. But I just don't pull them up and stretch them tight like I did with the 15-20 strength hose, and they work well.At first, I thought these were a bit pricey but now after using them for several days, I've changed my mind. They are worth every penny! These are strong and tough support hose and I expect them to last quite a while. Thanks, Doc Miller! Excellent product!!!

The compression hose material is not sheer, but thick (like my 1st pair of compression stockings 20 years ago) and it works! My lower legs feel well-supported. The best aspect is I have been wearing them for a month, and they have never fallen down like my other compression hose does. I have already ordered 2 more pairs and will order more. My only negative is related to my challenge of being a small-framed woman with heavy calves. By the calf measurement/ size recommendations from Doc Miller, I need to order a size LARGE; LARGE is perfect for my calves, but there’s some bunching of the material on top of my feet. The second time I ordered a MEDIUM; those fit my feet much better, but are more stretched out than I’d like on my heavy calves.

I was hesitant to get a pair of these toeless stockings because of the price (~$35), but I’m glad I took the chance!I normally get Small in other compression stocking sizes but these are definitely tighter. I had to return to get a Medium, which fit great. The length did not differ too much, which was an initial concern since I’m 5ft. The key thing is that the top banding does not cut into the leg like most compressions tend to do. The only other stocking that hasn’t done that for me are the MDSOX brand, which are very expensive nowadays (they used to sell for as low as $12/pair!) You get TWO pairs with each purchase for these stockings, and they’re comfortable. I don’t get sweaty even though I have to wear socks over these. The compression continues into the foot portion, which is exactly what I wanted. These have prevented swelling of my feet well! I highly recommend. The only difficult thing is maybe finding the right size for you. I recommend sizing one up if unsure. These are nice and tight!
