Pros: Nice sturdy paper "clip" holder at the top, paper doesn't slide around or fall down. Nice sturdy "line slide." An overall great quality document holder.Cons: Can't find any!Highly recommend!

I can't imagine transcribing text manually these days, I'd be scanning and OCR'ing hard documents or asking the author to send electronic copies. But it would work if you had to input handwitten copy.What we used it for is in the kitchen. My room-mate immediately seized the stand and clipped a recipe page to it and did some cooking. She reported no problems.There's four clips to hold the paper, more than enough, and one of them has a sliding ruler so you can hold your place, e.g. when working through a list of ingredients.The back plate is made of 1 mm ferrous sheet with flange, with stainless steel hinges, clip springs and back support. Everything else is black plastic. It is well-engineered.I did notice, after a day of use, that the clear, probably acrylic ruler was scratched up and smeared quite noticeably. The smears wiped off but the scratched, I fear, are permanent and will probably accumulate. You could use the top edge as the stator when that happens, so not the end of the universe.No reason to deduct a star from this useful product.

The latch that holds the stand's back in the upright could be better. When moving the stand, the back collapses. Need to be very careful

I do alot of data entry for work. So I got this to make things easier. It nice and large and hold quite a bit of paper. I loved the idea of the slider so you know where your at on a page, but its more trouble than its worth honestly. Its super sturdy and holds well. i am pleased with it

The slide arm is a bit difficult to manage.
