I've tried a bunch of different ways to hold paper with notes while I enter information on the computer. I've used stands (fine if you have a single full-sheet of paper with your notes) and business card holders (good when your notes are on index cards, but you keep having to glance down).This item solves the problem for both types of notes. It attaches with a very capable spring clamp to the side of the monitor without obscuring the screen (unless you have an edge to edge, no bezel screen). A smaller, but no less capable spring clamp holds the note paper or card at the other end. In between the two clamps are several joints which allow positioning the note paper almost anywhere. The joints allow the notes to be adjusted forward and backward, closer to the monitor or away, and to rotate--so the note is exactly where you want it to be.I like the sturdiness and quality, excellent value.
