Would have been A lot easier, if the protective tape on the steps would have been left off. Otherwisenice ladder.

While installation on an existing pool is quite a challenge, it can be done using a rental coring drill.Within a week there were signs of corrosion where the plastic of the steps meets the step, and after a month on the handles just around water level. Conclusion; not a good enough quality stainless steel.The steps are definitely not non-skid, being a chrome plated metal step. The surface is very smooth, care needs to be taken getting out.Then the steps are painful on the feet (for a 240lb person like me), mainly because they are too narrow. So I opted to replace them with the wider white plastic ones. There I ran into a new porblem.Plastic steps for the 1-⅝” pipe are only available for up to 250lb. The rest are all for 1-⅞” pipe. This means the steps are not very stable.Better to get steps that are on 1.9” (1-⅞”) pipe.

This is a pretty sturdy product and seems to work well, however, it was days late and when it came, it was damaged and the feet could not fit. Due to time constraints, I was not able to ship it back so there was no compensation for the damage. Not happy at all
