I've used many different car seats for my traveling cats but this is the first one that I've ever seen that goes on the console so I had to try it. It's amazing! It's very sturdy as it has a wire frame and solid base and it also secures in place well. To use it on the console, it has 2 straps that attach to the bottom; you open the console lid, slide them around it then close the lid. For an extra measure, I used one of the other straps to secure the back corner to the headrest of the driver's seat. We drove for several hours stopping and starting and it never moved. It can also be used in a variety of other configurations and the best part is that the fleece liner comes out and can be washed. My guy in the picture is a solid 12 pounds, is a long, lanky cat and he fit great. Couldn't be more pleased!!

It's great quality and perfect for our furry friends! My husband and I love the fact that it stays securely attached to the car armrest and keeps him from sliding around while on the road! I recently purchased a Center Console Dog Car Seat for my furry friend and I absolutely love it! Not only does this Center Console Dog Car Seat have a metal frame, but it also has a very stiff base plate on the bottom that provides plenty of support for my pet. It also doubles as a pet booster seat so he can see out the window comfortably, which really helps with his anxiety.Whether we're going on a short trip to the park or embarking on a long trip, It has become an essential part of our travels. It was easy to install and fits my car perfectly. I highly recommend it.
