I picked this up in hopes it would help keep my dog from scratching his stitches out from a really severe surgery & it’s working like a charm, even the vet was shocked. Definitely recommend this for owners that need protection for their dogs neck after surgery.

Came in theee parts as others have mentioned. Velcro was sturdy, instructions very simple. Went together very easily. Dog (French bulldog) didn’t mind it on his neck, looked comfortable enough. Turns out to be useless, as he could still reach his feet easily with zero restriction. So disappointing. Now have to consider the regular cones, as bad as they are. Not much other choice.

It comes in 3 pieces, so guess what happens when the dog scratches it? Not only that, the positioning of the velcro and how that pieces come together just make little sense. They over-complicated would could've been a great product. All they had to do was make it once piece. Instead, this 3-piece product is junk.

This is a great alternative to a plastic cone for post surgery or skin irritation. It allows them to eat from a bowl on the floor and go through a dog door. It is stiff with strong Velcro and is adjustable. I have had this collar for several years and used it on both my dogs at one time or another. The collar is awell designed, high quality item. It protects gauze or bandaging and prevents the dog’s ability to scratch, giving a scab time to heal. They can scratch at the collar and it will turn a little bit but doesn’t come off. My dogs have put this collar through the wringer and it has held up. The material has not ripped or torn and all stitching is still in place. I recommend this item!

Velcro did not work after 3 days when it gets dog hair on it. I have had to use tape to keep collar closed
