The pad isn’t heavy and seems cheaply made but will do the job to protect hardwood floors.

What you expect is a pad, what you get is this thin crappy piece of fabric with a shiny, slippery bottom!! This is absolutely, 100%, not a nonslip pad!!

One of my dogs is claustrophobic and has an open-wire crate. It was starting to scratch my new wood floor. Purchased this pad. Works great! Slightly larger than the crate, I did not trim it to be invisible. Works great! No scratches, and the crate doesn’t shift or slide on the pad.

When we got hard floors, my 17lb managed to move the XL dog crate across our bedroom. I got this mat and it keeps it from sliding. It was the perfect size and is not visible around the crate. No more crate scooting.

This little mat will fit well in your dog kennel. The drawback is that the material is not soft at all, and I feel like it would be rough on my pittie's feet. The mat itself is pretty thin and compact. It does absorb, but if your doggo has a big accident, don't expect this pad to contain it all without overflowing. It feels to my like an industrial, coarse type of rug that you find in doorways of businesses. It is very sturdy though, and it will last forever.

This is a thin mat with rubber underneath and a flannel material on top. It isn't cushy. It's more of a mat than a pad. I'm planning to use this under my dog's crate which get's pretty dirty. It could also be used under food and water bowls or really anywhere you need something water proof. If I didn't already have something, it might be good in the garage under our extra refrigerator. It's useful though not in the way that a soft crate mat is.

Mat is durable, and prevents water from hitting floor from his water bowl

This mat is probably the worst one I have had so far. My dog sheds frequently and of course, the main area where hair accumulates is his kennel where he sleeps at night. Naturally, this mat collects most of the hair which is nice, but the hair is next to impossible to remove. I tried to vacuum the hair off the mat, but it embeds itself in the fibers. The mat also sheds fibers when vacuumed. Would not recommend this. There are cheaper and better mats that you can get at Walmart or any other pet supply store.
