Love it!! So much faster and more quiet than a Dremel. It takes a lot more off than the Dremel. I want a extra so I won’t be without!

For the price, this is a decent dog nail grinder and it gets the job done. My medium-sized dog isn't nervous or anxious about grooming, especially if I'm doing it, so it wasn't difficult to trim her nails down to desired length. The nail grinder worked pretty well, but it did skip a few times, which could make a nervous-prone pup extra anxious and make the trimming process more difficult. Otherwise, this is a functional dog nail grinder that is low noise, and has the standard functions that you need on a basic level. There are certainly higher-end grinders available, at higher-end prices, but this one is sufficient for my purposes.

Nice light, easy to use grinder for your dog's nails. The fact it's rechargeable makes it very convenient to pull out of the drawer for a few minutes use at a time. Our dog doesn't really care for any kind of nail trimming or shaping, so short duration sessions every few days works better with him.The grinder works well - we take a little of the nail off then spend a minute shaping it, and we have seen any issues with the power.Given the price of the trimmer, especially with the current coupon offer, we feel this provides very good value.

This nail grinder for dogs has 3 speeds and a light. It is rechargeable and does a great job shaping and grinding down our AmStaff - American Staffordshire Terrier - tall pit bull. She really doesn’t like me using this on her but with both myself and my husband, it works well and quickly. The speed is very consistent even when grinding which means to me that this has plenty of power. It is quiet when running but I think the feeling of the grinding feels odd to my dog. ( it feels odd to me- when testing it on my own nail ). I will likely not use this to cut her nails. When trying this out, I used this to shape and smooth after trimming ( she doesn’t like it when I trim her nails either ) and this worked quickly. The speed on high does make the nail smell because it is taking a good amount of nail off at a time. The set includes a second grinding wheel. There are 3 sections/openings of this to use on the nails. Through the top, can shorten or shape, the wide side and the smaller side as well. I like using the smaller side opening because it keeps a limited area in contact with her nail, in case she jumps or lunges. I feel comfortable that I am not going to get her foot pad or hair. The grinder does not have a bag or case for storage. If they decide to add this, I suggest that it says what is inside vs their brand. Knowing what is in a bag or case keeps me from losing track of it.Negatives - the device is USB chargeable but the connection on the nail grinder is a USB mini instead of a USBc. I would prefer if the device used the more updated charging port which is more convenient for me based on the cords I have accessible at all times. The price at the time of this review is $19.99. I think this is a tremendous value. I am very pleased with the product and I recommend it. In my opinion, every dog is going to react differently to the sound and feeling of having their nails ground. The device has no control of my dog’s reaction. By using two people and holding her in a safe position, this thing really works on our large dog’s toenails and I like using it on her.I hope my thoughts and photos help someone.

Now this is a nail grinder for adult dogs! I've got a few nail grinders that are rated for 'all pets' and that gently buff away the nails but just take forever on my big dogs. That's almost as stressful as trimming their nails with traditional cutters. This grinder, however, has a serious grinding head with a pretty aggressive grit! I use the side opening first, to take off a lot of material quickly at the tip of the nail, and follow that with shaping and polishing, using the top opening. The dual lights let me check how close I am to the quick, repeatedly, no matter which side of the grinder I'm using. The display tells me how full the battery is, which is really helpful, because it can take a full battery to get through all the nails. The product description claims the battery will run the grinder for 4 hours, and that's probably true with no resistance, but grinding against tough nails will slow it down and force it to work harder, so the battery doesn't really last that long. Doing the front two paws typically eats the first 25% of the battery, and the hind paws finish with the battery around 60% or so, if I've kept up with trimmings and the weather hasn't been too dry. That's for one dog! So being able to see the battery level lets me know if I can go grab the next dog and start on their nails, or whether I need to let it charge first. Running low on battery midway through a nail trimming is frustrating, and preventable. One oddity: the charging port is the old style of micro USB, not the modern standard USB-C port. Luckily they provide a cable in case you don't have any of those anymore. They also provide a spare grinding head, and it's easy enough to swap out. The grinder also comes with a cap to keep it clean and dry in storage. All around, great tool that tackles tough dog nails quietly and efficiently. Much less stress for the dog!
