This bag is SUPER cute. I'm lucky enough to have a cat that likes to go for walks on a leash. But I always bring a bag (historically a pet-carrier backpack) for when she's just getting too curious about every neighbor's yard and the walk becomes tedious because we're not going anywhere. She likes riding in the backpack too. This bag is a much more adorable way to carry her, and it's SO cute to see her head poked out the hole in the front. Probably a nicer view for her too, than that provided by the mesh on the backpack.I really appreciate that there's a ring inside that I can clip to her leash so she can't jump out and run away. My only complaint is that the bag is open on top so eventually she wants to jump out of it. It would work much better if it could be zipped shut to close it completely.

I have three cats that are deathly afraid of a carrier. I have tried the plastic one with the metal great in the front, material ones, the backpack ones. They have either thrown up in them, almost torn their teeth out trying to bite their way out and I actually had one cat that tried so hard to get out that he caught his claw in the metal part and ripped it out of his paw. That being said getting two of them into the sling was not easy to begin with however after getting them in, their transport was a lot less stressful. I do believe that as they use it more they will lose their fear of going into it since they have to go head first. It probably brings the automatic trauma of going into a carrier head first. However they are not fighting to get out or harming themselves after they are in. That makes this a 10-star product. It is definitely more comfortable to carry and you can keep them close to you for emotional support.

My older dog doesn't get around as easily as he once did, and this looked like a means for me to transport him that would keep him nearer my body. I was so looking forward to this Mearrcgo Dog/Cat Sling Carrier (with Adjustable Shoulder Strap...) being a unique solution for his anxious vet visits. While I like the materials very much and they are an attractive color and of good quality, the sewing/seams do not match up and nothing has even been pressed flat. The workmanship is disappointingly average at best and the carrier, though packed securely for safe shipping, appears as just an unfinished blob. Some may like the ultra-casual, sloppy Army Surplus "look" as this is the fashion for some, but this could so easily have been a good looking tailored pet sling (as pictured on the sales page). The "porthole" style opening has a drawstring to adjust size and there is a firm piece that sort of fits in the bottom for some support, but those touches are not adequate to provide a professionally finished structure. Even pressing the seams would've helped, but it will take a hefty iron with steam. For the price ($19.99 at time of order/review) I expect better execution and am disappointed.

This Cat Sling Carrier with an Adjustable Shoulder Strap is exactly what we needed to carry our cat around safely and comfortably. It was extremely easy to set up, does the job well, and a great deal. Only issue we ran into was the cat was too big to fit inside and the hole was too low so he couldn’t look out.-That’s if he was normal and laid on his stomach. Do recommend for smaller cats that need a quick and easy ride.

It was easy to use but it is much smaller than was shown on this photo which looks to be a terrier or jack Russel sized dog I will say it absolutely did not fit that size of a dog becyit won't fit my Chihuahua so I'm upset a little over this issue my cat fits just fine so if you wanna carry a cat around this is perfect super sudalpunti about my dog not fitting inside these need to be biggerThe quality is very nice I love the leash is in built into the bag I think it could use some sidewall support the hole for the dogs bead to pop out is not that big either but it is not uncomfortable to carry I just wish it was more accurate and descriptive

I have an 8 lb toy schnauzer puppy that I take everywhere with me. I love this carrier because of the versatility of the dual straps that can go over your shoulder or hold like a handbag or the longer sling/shoulder strap. The bag is a heavy duty canvas, easy to clean and it doesn't show stains easily. My pup can stick his head out the top or use the side hole, or he can lay down on the firm bottom. The side hole cinches down to keep him safe inside as well as a magnetic snap in the middle of the top. There is also a clip on a strap that you can attach to the dogs collar or harness. It is simple and minimalist, but works great!

This is a nice sturdy canvas bag, with a firm(ish) insert to keep your pet stable (well, their legs anyway, IDK how stable *your* critter is being out in a bag!).It offers both a good, solid, adjustable shoulder strap and 2 padded hand straps so you can adjust how you're carrying them. I'd trust the 20# weight limit tho.There's a good tether (leash end) you can clip onto a harness if needed. The only thing to keep them in at the top is a snap, some pets will be determined enough to find their way out of the ends, as the snap only secures the center.Nothing in the way of pockets, really, if you need that (I do, thus 1 star off).One thing I do like: there's a little porthole the pet can stick their face/head out of and it's adjustable with a "pull tab" sort of clasp. On others of these I've seen, the clasp part is on the bottom, where some dogs (like mine) have hair to get caught in it. On this one, it's at the top, making it easier to secure them without pulling their hair.Definitely worth the advertised price.
