The concept is nice, for areas that are tight and don't have space for a traditional rachet. This allows you to use the ratchet vertically instead of needing to ratchet horizontally. The problem though is that it doesn't have enough power / torque to loosen or tighten bolts completely. Which is a pretty big problem. The sockets it comes with are ok, but there are just 6 sockets. The case is a joke that's not funny. It's too big and isn't designed to hold the sockets very well. It is just a very poor quality and designed case.

Overall: Recommended! Great product for getting you set for your ratchet wrench needs. Nice durability and quality build on these tools. Has been tested thoroughly and seems dependable. Cheers

This cordless electric ratchet works better than I expected, it is plenty powerful for most tasks and the long reach really helps when getting into hard to reach spots. The battery life is pretty good and it comes with a nice storage case.

This is an ok electric ratchet. I have used it a few times and it will get the job done. The quality is what you would expect from the local no-name brands you can get cheap online or local box store. It does work, it holds a charge fine but is a little sloppy. For a cheap home DIY tool, it will be fine. I would not recommend it for any type of commercial or heavy use. The instructions are very general and appear to cover several products in one small document.

This handheld tool will get into some very tight places that your larger electric drive wrenches will not fit. It is better than hand wrenches when it comes to installing and removing bolts. The reason is the lack of space to move the hand wrench. It is good to have this tool in your arsenal. On small bolts there is enough torque to "break" the bolts loose. The kit includes a set of sockets: 11mm, 12mm,13mm, 14mm, 15mm' and 17mm.There is one adaptor that would round out this kit very nicely and that is an socket with the ability to insert the many screwdriver bits that are on the market. When I install drawer slides in cabinets there is not much room for larger drill motors. The small compact size of this tool would be ideal for such and accessory. This is a good tool

The good is the it's variable speed and that works. The light is a huge plus for me. The negatives: The battery is very difficult to remove and doesn't get easier, as I have mine for three weeks now. Another thing that keeps happening, and not just to me, as if I'm doing something, but hubby is using it too, the sockets will randomly pop off, quite often. Another thing I have noticed is it is on the heavy side, a bit tiring for me. The case, while it was not damaged on the outside at all, it's just popped in, creased and bent on the inside, very cheaply made. Also with the case, the items do not snap into place, so you hear the parts banging around in there when you carry it. I would not give this as a gift.

dogtooth Cordless Electric Ratchet Wrench SetIt’s interesting to me that none of the dogtooth products reveal where they are manufactured. When it comes to this particular dogtooth product—the cordless electric ratchet—if I were a country I wouldn’t take credit for it either.Everything in this set is basically junk—although that’s a little too harsh for the electric ratchet itself. It’s not necessarily junk; it’s just cheap. But the case and the included sockets are junk; the AC adapter feels like junk, even though, technically, it seems to work (but don’t bet on its longevity).Ironically, the set somewhat presents itself as junk since everything—and I do mean everything—is loose in the case just rattling around. Not a good look—or sound. It just wreaks junk at worst and cheap at best. And that’s the distinction I would make about the electric ratchet: cheap, but not necessarily junk. Why? Although the tool has a good weight and even feel to it, it is very low in power—in torque to be precise—compared to similar tools. 35 lbs. of torque, which this tool has, is as low as you will find. Most similar tools have torque ranging from 50 to 74lbs. The ones with the most torque will cost you at least twice as much, but you can find other electric ratchets with considerably more torque for only $10-$15 more. And that’s where I would encourage you to look. You would really notice the difference in torque when in use. This one will only tighten nuts or bolts to about finger-tight. You’d still have to use elbow grease in a second step by putting a wrench or manual ratchet on it to tighten it all the way. A “proper” electric ratchet should tighten your bolt or nut as tight as it needs to be in one step. And, given the junky overall feel of this set, there’s the very real concern about longevity and durability. Just how long will this tool last? As I mentioned regarding the AC adapter, I wouldn’t bet on its longevity. So I can’t recommend this particular set, and I strongly encourage you to keep looking for a different cordless electric ratchet. Thanks for reading.
