Tracking and Maps
The PATHFINDER MINI provides a two-second GPS update rate and powerful zoom capability which provides greater live-action detail and accuracy in the field via the PATHFINDER app. A variety of map options, such as Offline Maps mode, are used to track and train your dog. The Offline Maps mode is completely free to download, has no hidden or extra fees, and can be downloaded via the PATHFINDER app. Map provider subject to change.
Design and Size
22% smaller than the PATHFINDER receiver, the PATHFINDER MINI receiver is small, sleek, and simple. The receiver was built with smaller dogs in mind, such as beagles, and is perfect for tracking and training. The PATHFINDER MINI offers a 4-mile range and a Beacon & Locate LED Light.
Corrections
Similar to the PATHFINDER, the PATHFINDER MINI utilizes a correction and audible tone to track and train your dog. With up to 100 correction levels, the PATHFINDER sends the correction through the receiver and is great for keeping your dog on track during the hunt.

I have lots of these collars and love the dogtra system. However the collar I ordered from this vender is crap. Wont hold a charge but for a few hours. All my other dogtra collars that are 2-3 years old will last days of hunting/training. Caused a major issue with a bob cat today vs a beagle because the collar went dead. I could not shock, tone to call the hound back nor track the dog due to collar failure which almost cost me a $3000 hound. Beware and test collars for battery longevity before using in field.

I have the original Pathfinder for my larger male and purchased this one for my female. The size works great for her smaller size. She's about 40lb GSP. The app allows me to monitor both dogs location, setup Geo-fence and receive notifications all while managing each dog separately. I do wish there was a separate handheld remote for the e-collar to use while I am hiking or doing things, but I have learned to manage everything through the app.

First time I used my system it worked great.. Second time I used it the shock function, and the tone function would not work at all. I deleted the app, reinstalled the app, deleted the collar, added the collar, and so on. Never could get it to work. Called Dogtra they told me to send it in. 3 weeks later they still have my unit and I’m out $400. Not very happy. I would recommend spending the extra money on a Garmin Alpha. I wish I would have sent it back to Amazon and got my money back instead of sending it to Dogtra for repair.

Great tracking collar that is very easy to use. Highly recommend this for dog owners who have dogs that like to run.
