I'm using these rope end stopper with hooks together with 1in jute rope. The 1in jute rope is a tad smaller than the rope end caps and hence, I use electrical tape to tie up the ends of the jute rope first.Also, with the electrical tape at the ends, it makes screwing in the small screws more secured.With all that said, the quality of these stoppers are average at best. Since I'm using these on posts that won't be used much, I'm ok with the quality. I'm using them for more of a decorative purpose. I don't think these are suited for any heavy duty usage.

They were a little bit big for the rope that I had, but I still was able to use them. All I did was wrap tape around the end to fill it in a little.

Light duty item China made screws not good for holding rope.
