I had never seen a flare fitting use O rings to seat. But I have now. I tried installing the line with the B-Nuts and the line. It kept leaking so I tried Teflon tape and tighten it so tight that the aluminum casting on the fuel cut off just blew apart but would not stop leaking. So I bought a new fuel cut off and tried installing the rubber O-ring (or rubber spacer) It was quite difficult to get the B-Nut started but when I did it did not leak after tightening it. I have used flair fittings for over 50 years, this is the first time I have ever seen a rubber spacer used under the B-nut. But it worked after I figured out how they wanted it installed.

I'm a diy person but bending tubing is a pain. Fair price and good fit.
