I've one objection to the Dokken Dead Fowl Ruffled Grouse Hunting Dog Retriever Trainer I recently purchased. That objection is the light, kind of creamy top of the trainer. Look at the advertised Dokken Ruffled Grouse on this page. Notice how dark it is on the top. Look at the picture of some real Ruffled Grouse my handicapped Golden Retriever (Born with 3 and 3/4 legs but has a pad on the short one) recovered this grouse season here in Montana. Notice their dark color. The body of the trainer should be as dark as the head, like the advertised trainers. Still, it's a 5-star product.I take my dog for about three or four short walks a day to relieve herself. During those walks I have her retrieve the trainer about four times and let her carry it back home. It's all the training she and her nose needs. ;)
