This product did not fit in my TJ! Luckily my switch was just unplugged in the back. But it was too late to send it back. Didn't want to send it back for 50% of what I paid for it.

I saw the very mixed reviews (1 or 5 stars only) so I thought I'd take the risk. The first one I bought, installed easily, but when I closed the door to 'adjust' it, it broke like a couple other reviews have stated.So, silly me, I bought a second one. This time I was very gental with it, and tried to use a socket and rubber vise to adjust it before install. I set it in 3 ribs, to match the original. As soon as I lossened the vise, the plunger switch popped out, AGAIN.

I put it in and closed the door and broke it,what a stupid design.I took both switches out and put them in the trash. I should send them back but I think Jeep designed a felony stupid switch. I changed the system to a wireless switch, much better.

This device is too long to use in a TJ. I tried to modify it and it ended up not being usable. I have a 97 TJ that it could not be used in.

Quick & easy to install - no brainer. Paid more to have it shipped than the switch, but in the end it was worth it. My dome light comes on again.
