Cool product. Just make sure you know if your vehicle uses power or grounding to activate the dome light and use the yellow or orange wire respectively

The delay module for my 1980 corvette went bad. There's not many options for replacements, but this timer module brought all the same functionality and then some. It was really easy to program with it's wifi capability and I was able to customize it to work properly with my car's wiring.It's small enough that with some modifications to the original circuit board was able to solder to the original board and fit inside the original module, making installation as easy as plugging it in.Really like the dimming lights function and the ability to turn off the lights if the door is left open (which is common with all the work I'm doing on the car).I one thing that I wish it did was when the doors open, the interior lights come on gradually. There's a setting for initial brightness, but you can only set it between 1 and 10. I'd prefer if the lights came on full brightness right away.This is able to be updated over wifi, so maybe a software update will add this.

This dimmer module works as it should, however lack of instructions with the dimmer itself was annoying trying to find where I can find the wiring diagram on the internet. Also at first I thought this module was faulty, it did nothing at all. It wasn't until I connected it via wifi that the module started working, and that was not mentioned anywhere. But as far as the module works, it works well, and is nice and small so it does not take up much room at all.

This is one of the coolest features I have added to my classic VW Bus. Now when I open the door, the interior lights slowly fade on and remain on until I either start the car or close the door. If the key is turned, the lights fade out at that time. If I only shut the door, the lights remain on for 20 seconds (or any time you want to program in) and then fade out. When I drive the car and then shut off the key, the interior lights fade back up before you open the door. This product is excellent!All features are programmable with a smart phone using the device's internal wireless network which is a magical feature, no buttons, no fuss!

Worked perfect for one year and then today, I noticed my dome light would not turn off. After about 10 minutes I started investigating and found the little module had completely melted and burnt some of the wires. It was so hot it burned the palm of my hand. I do not know why it failed, but that's a very dangerous situation.

I installed a dome light in my 1952 Ford F1 Pickup - it's 'era correct' - but it works with just a switch on the light itself. So, I installed a door jam switch. The light went off as soon as I closed the door, so I decided to try this product. It worked perfectly. From start to stop, I had it wired in and programmed in 30 minutes. Take a few moments to understand the wiring diagram before you start - then it's simply a matter of do the connections. I went to the configuration mode both ways - by grounding the white wire and by using the door jam switch - both worked as described.Only thing I would say is to make sure you do a restart once you're finished programming (per instructions)Other than that - this is a real easy install and it makes my 52 F1 act like a new vehicle for the interior lights!

This is a great product. I'd give it 4.9 stars ...and 10 stars for support!!!I received version 3.0Does not need ground sink for negative door switch. It's all in one. Yay!I have an old 80's Toyota puckup. Yellow wire is not used. Orange to light circuit, blue to door button that connects to chassis ground -12vdc.Make sure you download the correct instruction manual.The software is a little inconsistent and quirky on mine. No worries. The real trick is to get the settings as you want, remove white wire from the ground connection, then reboot it by disconnecting & reconnecting power. White wire must be disconnected for normal use, or it won't work. This wasn't clear, but the amazing support helped me figure it out. Immediate email response on a Saturday evening!Works perfect now. My interior lights delay off like any modern vehicle. I'm very happy!Highly recommended.
