Upgraded from orginal134XX to premium 154xx steering cable in 99 Ski Centurion. New cable would not fit into original support tube in the boat, this support tube fix the problem.

I had a bit of a situation where my son wanted to take a bunch of his buddies wake-boarding on the weekend. I got the boat out of storage only to discover that the steering cable had corroded and was frozen in position. Found the replacement part first on Jamestown Distributors, then it occurred to me to look on Amazon. Not only was it cheaper on Amazon, it was on Prime so I got it overnight for an additional four bucks. Was able to install it in about two hours, and it works just fine.
