SSCX XTREME Steering Cable features splined ridges on the Inner Liner to Allow for Close Contact with the Core while allowing to Glide Freely. The cable"s robust construction supports the highest steering loads in the mechanical range and has reduced friction for extended cable life.
SHX XTREME Steering Helm features an Improved, High-Efficiency Custom Gear Train. The helm is constructed with Zinc and Plated Steel for Safety and Efficiency. Its small and light installation footprint fits all existing installations and is backward compatible.

First got the wrong length. My fault be careful when hitting length 12' needed 18' got correct one went smooth took the wrong one back no problem sent correct one Happy with product.

Product is excellent and the delivery time was weeks ahead of time. I followed the manufacturers measurement recommendations of the old steering cable , but I came up a foot short when I ordered the new steering. Still fit and I'm very satisfied.

TOTALLY REMOVED THE FEEDBACK I WAS GETTING FROM THE OLD CABLE. YOU CAN RELAX AND ENJOY THE RIDE RATHER THAN FIGHTING THE WHEEL ALL DAY.....WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE. READ THE DIRECTIONS SO YOU DO NOT INSTALL BACKWARDS LIKE I DID AT FIRST AND HAD REVESE STEERING. TURNED THE WHEEL RIGHT AND THE BOAT WENT LEFT. EASY FIX IF YOU DO MAKE THE MISTAKE. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS CLOSELY.
