Had to use a spare non matching screw as one of the heads broke off while being screwed in. Not the most impressive quality fasteners.

Mine came with a corner bent over, presumably happening during shipping. I was able to gently get it back to close to normal shape, but it's not perfect. Not bad enough to make me return for a replacement. Otherwise, it's very sturdy and works well on the door. Sizing is accurate as well. Came with one side coated in a protective coating, the other side (now facing the door) was a little scratched up.

Used this plate on a commercial door and it worked out well. Placing on another metal door, however, might cause you to break a few drill bits - at least it did us. Have to place screw holes slightly above the reinforced door frame.

Great plate, heavy enough for a house to garage door, good finish and thickness. I ordered this because I couldn't find the correct size at the local HD. On a different door we could find the correct size at HD, bought it from HD and it's much flimsier than the Don-Jo. Better price and quality at Don-Jo.
