Interface introduction

1. Wireless band group switch button

The color of the indicator light will change after pressing this button, as long as the indicator light on the transmitter and receiver are the same color, the pairing is successful.

2. Pairing indicator

The color displayed by this indicator is the wireless band group the device is currently in, and the seven colors represent different band groups.

3. Power interface

Please use the included power adapter to power the DMX512 wireless transceiver.

5

Easy to control, stable and reliable

Just press the channel switch button near the power interface to easily switch the paired wireless channel. The 7 groups of different channels are independent and do not interfere with each other. Hidden button design can effectively prevent accidental touch during use, so as to avoid uncontrolled situations.

6

Quick pairing, convenient and fast

Just adjust the indicator light on the transmitter and the indicator light on the receiver to the same color, and the two devices are paired successfully. One transmitter can be paired with multiple receivers at the same time, and the received signal is the same.

Perfect for bands bringing in their own lighting. I haven't had the opportunity to use it live yet, but in my testing, I've hooked it up and it worked without issue.

I've had these for a couple of years now paired with Chauvet Show Express. Cuts a lot of time off of our setup and they work great!

These are literally plug-and-play. Just remember that each transmitter and receiver comes with it's own AC power cable so you don't want to use these for every light. If you're plugging in power cables for every light you may as well plug in a DMX cable. With that in mind, you can use these to put lights anywhere in the room without having to worry about cable length. Here's how I use mine:I bought two transmitters and 5 receivers. One transmitter plugs into my Chauvet 4Bar and a receiver into another 4Bar and I control them both in master/slave mode with the 4Bar's footswitch. I can now separate the lights as far as I want without having to worry about a DMX cable being long enough to connect them. I use my other Donner transmitter on a DMX controller and a transmitter at the beginning of a chain of ADJ Mega Par Profiles used for uplighting. I connect as many lights as I can with 6 foot cables until I reach a point where lights are far away, like on another wall. For those, I start a new chain with a Donner receiver at the beginning. And since I'm running two transmitters to control two different chains, I simply used a paperclip to assign the Donners in my 4Bars to green and the Donners in my uplights and controller to orange. No interference. No latency. Brilliant technology!

Worked GREAT!! Tested system at a venue that I knew from past experience does ALOT of weddings at the same time with TONS of radio traffic. Not a SINGLE glick!! Just worked. Also, made my set up and tear down faster as well. Found out these also NOW come in a battery powered version!! Just order a set of those today!!!! 3/21 update. ..sadly had a glitch. I have 28 receivers and 4 transmitters. EVERYONE that was set to the purple group would not work consistently. Changed the purple grouping to yellow...only to find only HALF of my lights were receiving a single. Red, blue grouping worked flawless but the other 5 groups did not. End up running dmx wires to 3 grouping to get those lights working. Never had issues in pass but SOMETHING just wasn't right this time. From reading suppose to jump codes but that does seem to happen automatically. Was very frustrating at VERY high end wedding I had booked. So....3 stars. I had previously giving 5 star for these.

Worked exactly as advertised, they came neatly boxed and were actually delivered a little earlier than expected so good news there. The instructions in the box leave a lot to be desired, but you can pick up from youtube all you need to know about set up, which is ridiculously easy. Make sure the receiver is the same color as the transmitter by using a pen or a very fine screwdriver to change the colors to match and your on up and running. Have used them at one gig so far and attached the transmitter to one of my Chauvet Kinta lights and set it as master and the receiver to another Chauvet Kinta light set as slave and after a little tweaking on the master light settings (changed the recommended address on the master to A002 instead of A001) and they worked perfectly. Well made, only downside is they need power, wish they were rechargeable battery type as i'm still running too many power cables, i mount the lights on top of my speakers for smaller gigs with a laser beside it so i'm constantly running out of outlets!

Worked great. Next time I would probably get the ones with just antennas on the back. The lights on the receivers were a little distracting when lights were out. Instructions were in the smallest font possible and almost require a magnifying glass. A little annoying but not worth buying something else.

In Service 12/23/2015. Application: Small mobile theatrical/dance productions.MacBook Pro 15ʻ, Mid 2013; OS X 10.8.5; QLC+ 10.4.1; ultraDMX Micro USB-DMX interface/dongleJust opened and tested - works exactly as advertised. Works at least 30ʻ distance, through two wooden walls (three rooms away). My Airport reception bombed in the same distance, so i had to get back to the work space to write this.Things i didnʻt realize from the amazon product page:1) to set the address group (out of seven) the transmitter and receivers work on, you have to push a recessed button - good design, for preventing inadvertent changes, but you need a pen or something similar to push the button. The LED color on the transmitter and the LED (in the dome) of the receiver indicate the address group; just match the colors of the transmitter and receiver LEDʻs.2) both the transmitter and every receiver must be powered via their individual power adapters (comes w/ each unit). a bit of a pain as you have to have access to AC power; normally not an issue, but if youʻre running it in theatre grid, you need to make sure your adapter is plugged into an appropriate outlet (iʻm assuming that means non-dimmer).Be aware that the instructions are printed in a size 2 or 3 font, so you will probably need a magnifying glass, especially if your eyes are messed up from staring into lights, hahaha.if someone asks, iʻll post them here.
