This Door Lock Installation Kit by Becowin is just what I needed to install new locks on my door! I've never used a door lock kit before so it was nice having all pieces to accomplish this task. Luckily other reviews gave me a heads up on how to do it properly.For $7.99 I couldn't pass it up. It was easy to set up, durable, and got the job done. I was a bit worried it would be loose when I practiced putting it through the hole (see picture). It's decent quality and worth it.

This lock installation kit is a bargain, for a very basic tool. This is great for anyone needing to corejust one or two, or MAYBE a few wooden doors. For more than that, there are coring kits that are stronger, easier to use, more versatile, can be used on metal doors, have higher quality saws, etc.This style kit does not clamp onto the door, but instead is dependent on two small screws to hold it in place while drilling. It works just fine, so long as the wood on the edge of the door is in good shape to hold the screws well and you use strong enough screws. I was impressed by how well the saws worked. I half expected them to die after a single use for this price, but they still have plenty of life left in them after drilling through fairly soft pine. Of course, it depends on what sort of wood you're drilling through. I wonder if anyone has ever drilled an oak door with this type of inexpensive set.Note that this set will accommodate THREE door thicknesses, not just the one or two that people have remarked about. The listing images show how to set this thing up for those three sizes. This seems to be the way of the future: Directions are no longer included with products or, if they are, they are pretty much useless. One must consult the listing in order to divine instructions from lousy, digitally-manipulated, fake images, and ridiculously bad translations into English, and finally, rely on reviewers to provide descriptions of their experiences in using the product.

This BECOWIN ; Door Lock Installation Kit with Large Chip-Clearance Slotsand Door Lock Hole Saw for Deadbolts and Locksets is a must have if you are installing or changing out a door. Make the job go so much easier and quicker.

THis couldn't be less expensive. An incredible value. My only suggestion would be a case to keep it together. The cardboard box isn't going to last very long than I'll likely start getting pieces separated and lost

The guide was very helpful getting the alignment for the holes drilled, takes the guess work out of it. Kit also comes with the needed drill bits.
