These silicone lock strike protectors go on the metal loop that sticks out of the doorframe on your car and helps to keep the door latched when closed. They seem well made and even come with adhesive stickers to help hold them in place. They are advertised as helping to keep the door "silent," but in my Ford Escape, it didn't make much of a difference quieting a pesky rattle somewhere inside the door. On the other hand, if you know that a rattle is coming from the lock itself, this might help you more than it helped me!
