The pickguard fit the guitar perfectly and all the holes lined up, this is rare, this never happens, so I am very happy with this purchase. Limited options for a Hendrix Strat because of the reversed bridge pickup, this one did the trick !

This fit perfectly on a vintage Stratocaster restoration and looks great! The band member I did work for cried a little when I delivered his bass and guitar. I call that a win for the home team!

Very nice looking. A bit tight at the bridge and the holes for the pots needed reamed out a bit (they were just shy of 3/8")

Building a Strat from a body & neck from GFS. Great value! The reverse slant bridge pickup makes more sense to me, same as the reverse headstock. And I have nothing against Jimi Hendrix.Note ~ Unless your body in routed for a humbucker in the bridge position it will not work without removing wood.

so i didn't get this to be jimi hendrix, i wanted to emulate the sound of dick dales left handed guitar strung upside down. definitely gives the guitars bridge pickup a brighter tone on the low strings and a less ice-pick like treble response on the highs.That being said, i bought this to replace the mint guard on my fender. its a fine replacement, slightly less thick that the one that it is replacing, and the holes for the pickup screws aren't sunk in so the screws stick out the slightest bit more. not even a problem.Idid have to get out a router and take some wood out of my guitar to get the pickup to go in backwards, so keep that in mind. guitar resonates just as well and only seems louder when playing unplugged.Also, this guard is very well shielded, even more so that the fender guard i replaced.would definitely recommend these for any guitar customization efforts. can't beat the price!

Excellent pickgaurd, clean cuts for the pickups and pots, out of the 11 screw holes only 2 didn’t line up perfectly, and even they were not off enough to warrant drilling new holes, just had to start the screw at a slight angle and drive it in, can’t even tell it was slightly off.I installed it on a Squire Deluxe Strat and couldn’t be happier.I believe the reverse bridge pup orientation does make a difference, the high E and B strings frequency is slightly adjusted, giving a more balanced tone over all the strings.Very recommended !

I installed this pickguard on a 2000 squier affinity stratocaster to make a Jimi Hendrix style strat. It's good quality and the screw holes lined up perfectly, I put vintage style cts pots and vintage cloth wiring and vintage tone capacitor with vintage wound alnico 5 pickups and it sounds really weird and cool, I am going to be putting a reverse headstock neck on it so it has more of the look and tone of Jimi's.
