This purse is small, but it works for me. I ordered a different one that was the size of a school backpack, so I'm returning that one. This is definitely purse size. I love having a small backpack and can fit all the essentials--wallet, glasses, keys, phone, checkbook, hair brush and a few small things. The small pockets are handy for my keys and phone. Having hands free and less weight on one shoulder is a great advantage. The gold was brighter and shinier than I like, and the material is a little stiff. But it's still cute and I've gotten compliments on it.
