Used on a 05 3.5L Buick aluminum head freeze plug. I changed the heads a few years ago and the plug leaked from damage the machine shop must have did in the bore and sealed up. I first tried another freeze plug with permatex 1, but it leaked in the same spot immediately. It is very difficult to get to and alot of labor. So, next was to try this rubber one. I had to cut the rubber to shorten as there was interference in the head. Followed directions and it held 10 psi test. Used the car for a few hundred miles and everything good so far. I think it will last and very happy with it.

I used this to plug a hole that I drilled into the top of a sewer line so that I could insert a sewer snake. It seals well. We will see how long it lasts when exposed to sewer gas.
