1 week after 30 day return policy was up, the part became defective. I could not find any means of contacting Dorman to figure out if there were any options. If there are no options, I would definitely not order this type of part from them again.

Many links suggest this is compatible for 1999/2002 F550 & F650. It does physically fit, however the controls do not function as they should.

Installed this in my 2001 F550 7.3L truck and worked well. Just so you know, you do not have to remove steering wheel to install. In and out in 20 minutes. U-tube it.

Just what I needed, watched a youtube video and real easy to put in. Took about one hour and saved a bunch of money by doing it myself. Been in for a couple of months and is working fine.

I'm giving three stars because the part was fine, it just didn't fit my truck. Apparently there are two part numbers for the 2004 F150 FX4. According to the parts matcher here, this part fit my truck but after receiving it and completely disassembling and removing my steering wheel, I found out that it doesn't. My truck was built before 11/04 so it uses a different part number (Motorcraft SW6070).
