It was only 5 screws and about 5 minutes to change. It fits perfectly in my 2006 jeep and it is like the original. I purchased this as my original keeps wanting to keep the left signal on and I had to hold it in place when driving and now it is like new.

NOT WHAT IS PICTURED, DECEPTIVE PRACTICES ! Dorman said it would fit my car. It did but Not with the standard features of my Non-limited 2006 Commander. The lights are completely Manual, So Do Not forget to turn them off or you will Drain your battery, and of course Do Not forget to Turn them on at night or in tunnels. Also, the Lights Do Not turn on with the windshield wiper.It fits, but So Would a series of 1960's Toggle Switches.Dorman should admit Omission is Deception.

Plugged in and everthing work but the blinkers. Took out and plugged in old on and blinkers worked. Did that doz times befor started looking at it. One of the 3 brass terminals was smashed inside the housing. Was able to take apart with screw driver and able to straight without breaking. Put together and plugged in. Worked perfectly! ( think it's a rebuild because there's Philips screws and factory one has hex. So someone just got in a hurry building. Giving a 3 start because the hassel but once product worked its a 5 start item.

My Cherokee's left turn signal came on by itself with the switch in the center position. I had to hold it slightly upwards while driving to keep it off..big pain. This switch came in promptly, three torx screws under the steering column shroud {T-20s} allowed me to remove the shroud, 2 T-15 torx screws held on the old switch. Old one slides right out {towards the dash} and the new one slide right back in. No problem. Fixed! And, saved much $$$.

Cheap option seems. Just installed in my car and feels a bit cheap compared the stock one BUT... we will see-hope it holds up!
