Bolted right up, some have drilled the thread hole out, this is not needed. Run the bolt into the bypass mount thread first, then hold it onto the engine block and continue tightening the bolt. So far strong enough 💪

This part does NOT fit, even though the manufacturer of the part (Dorman) and the Amazon seller state that it DOES fit my vehicle! I would thus give this product a no star rating if I could. Very unhappy and very frustrated.

Seems like an overly expensive product, also after being installed it has the added feature of creating a squeaking noise. Don't buy it if you want to quiet engine

I like this item the bearing feels good and it fit the original bracket. The issue for me was the fact that all 3 holes are threaded and only 2 of my mounting holes were not. If you ever threaded a bolt through a mount and into another piece you will surely understand my struggle. This was a pain due to it being in quite a tight spot as is.

I got rid of My non-functiong AC Compressor and replaced it with this product on My 92 Chevy Astro Van 4.3 Vin W. I cannot remember the exact details but for my Application one of the 3 holes was not large enough to pass the Bolt Through.I used to be a Diesel Mechanic so that was not a hard fix. I cannot remember exactly when I bought it. 1-2 years for sure maybe slighly longer. After that time the Bearing started getting noisy (most of the Dorman Products I have seen are now made in China).Rather than fool with getting a new one I took the AC Compressor Apart and just used the Front Section that had the Pulley on and that is doing fine. Another way to go would have been to set it up as if there was no AC on it. However, I have 2 extra New AC length Belts to use up before I think about that.So if you want to delete your AC Compressor but retian the other Stock Pullies and Belt there is not much choice. I think there is only one other Company that maked this Part and it also may be made in China. I just bouth the least Expensive one available. On other applications it might work without drilling out the Hole.I had to give 2 stars because of fitment issues and lack of logivity of the Bearing.
