Driver's side wiper would not remove the rain. I tried several things to make it work but ended up just buying this new one. The springs that hold it to the windshield had become weak. This new one is strong.

Pretty good so far. As other reviews say though, the plastic clip is garbage. It fell off as soon as I turned on the wipers, so i put the clip from my old one on it.(Fit on my 1997 Ford Crown Victoria)

Although the original arm looked fine when I removed it, it had insufficient pressure to keep the (oversized) blade from smearing right at eye level on my 97 town car. The new arm made it work properly. The removal was difficult because of the location, but with the tool https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002H9ABXS?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details the task was not difficult.

My 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis GS' driver side wiper was not wiping properly. I purchased this replacement wiper arm and now it works like a dream. The pin system can be a little tricky at first so I recommend searching how to replace the old wiper arm prior to doing it. It is very easy once you figure out how. Now my windshield wipers are flawlessly wiping the windshield.

Ultimately I got it on there, it's the correct length, wipes as it should so far.HOWEVER, it does not easily slide onto the teeth nearly as easily as an oem part might, I had to whack this on with a hammer A LOT, scratching the hell out of the finish, wondering if I was destroying it the entire time. Once I finally got it fully slid on and locked, it worked, I had never installed a wiper arm before but it really shouldn't have been this difficult to install

My Grand Marquis was leaving a big un-wiped spot right in front of my face, new blades didn't help. These new Dorman wiper arms fixed the problem totally, the springs are much tighter than on my old worn-out wiper arms. Also, there is no nut to remove and no special tool needed to pop the arm off like most vehicles; all you need is a flat screwdriver to pry up a clip, pop the arm off, shove the new one on, and use the screwdriver to tamp the new clip down. Cheap easy fix for an annoying safety issue.

Solo q trae un cuñero y no permitio en mi caso colocar el limpiador en su posición original de apagado. Quedó un poco arriba de lo quel original dañado estaba. Funcionalidad ok.

I received my order on time and in perfect condition.I admit I was suspicious of the Dorman Brand due to earlier experiences, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Dorman product was actually BETTER in design and build quality than the original factory wiper assemblies!! The Powder-Coated black finish caught my eye right away -- excellent finish, and more durable than the OEM pieces. But the real gem came to light when I examined the locking mechanism. The Dorman Wiper Arm #42619 (Driver's Side) and the #42618 (Passenger's Side)have been revised to eliminate the problem with the "Lock Pin" distorting or falling out of the Factory Original TRICO wiper arms, and also on the earlier versions of Dorman's FoMoCo replacement wiper arms, as was noted in some previous reviews. This problem has plagued owners of Crown Vics, Grand Marquis, and Town Cars for almost 2 decades -- and Dorman has solved it !! The NEW Dorman design has no detachable "Lock Pin" -- it has the locking pin cast right into the Arm Base -- it can't fall out and it can't roll over. If you own a Crown Vic, Grand Marquis, or Town Car, this is the solution to your wiper arm problems !! And they're very reasonably priced, too !!
