Sloppy paint markings and plug end is water board not copper like original. Broke the end off hooking up. Cruise slide switch lifts when trying to turn cruise on. CHEAP GARBAGE.

Fell apart while installing, the wiper portion of the switch is plastic, pressed onto the metal splined stem. It stripped the first time I tried to turn the wipers on. The plug end is much larger than the OEM one and doesn't fit through the cast hole in the column, it needed to be modified (shaved down) to fit.

Poor quality, feels cheap and not up to 80's standards for what came factory

I bought this and the GM version. This one was a fire cheaper but was a little bit cheaper feeling in the OEM. Both do the same thing

This multi-function switch is okay, but not that great. These switches are pretty pricey (if you have the version with the cruise control) but they don't seem like that high quality. Certainly not up to the level of the OEM switches. Fit and finish is just less than I would have liked. I am pretty picky about my car components, so it may be me. If you just want a switch that functions and don't care a ton about how it looks, then you may think it is fine. The biggest issue, though, was the cruise control wire. If you watch videos on the web of installing this in older GM trucks, you have to snake it down and through the steering column. This either means that you have to obtain a steering wheel puller and get into a major job taking it all apart...OR you can attach a wire to it as you pull the old one through...then pull the new wire back through the other way. There are a number of videos showing people doing this, but the connector is different on those ones (more like the traditional style). The old wire came out fine, pulling the temporary 'guide' wire along with it. However, when I attached the new cruise wire and tried to pull it through...nope!This connector has a large orange 'block' of hard plastic at the connector end. It is very wide. There was ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that thing was going to snake back down through the column. I used my dremel to shave much of the width off both sides of the connector 'block' but it still wouldn't go. I was being very careful, including using some silicone grease to help things along...but at some point the guide wire got pulled off on a snag. Luckily, this truck is pretty trashed so we just zip-tied the cruise wire to the outside of the column. Anyway, be forewarned if this is your plan.

This was an EXCELLENT replacement for the Control Arm on my 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z. It was EXACTLY likethe original, and was FAR LESS expensive here through Amazon, than it was at the local auto parts store (I won'tname the store, but it is a nation wide auto supply store). I have also worked at that auto parts store, and I am veryfamiliar with the Dorman name and their product line. They produce quality replacement parts for all makes andmodels of vehicles, and produce many hard to find items, as well. I highly recommend them to everyone!
