Perfect fit for 26 gallon/ 99 liters gas tank, 2008 Dodge RAM 1500.Front strap is 23.5"/60 centimeters long and the rear strap is 32"/81 centimeters long.Installation is fairly easy, you need a 16mm deep socket and a jack to support the tank. Torqued at 30 ftlb.

This item does not work for a 34 gal. Gas tank. 2005 Ram 1500 STL Hemi 4wd.The front strap was 8 inches to short.The strap that was sent is for the front of a 26 gal tank.Not a nice thing to find out after you put in the new tank.Not happy at all. Had to search around for the part and buy a new set.You need to check your IT FITS on this site.

install was pretty easy over all., but finding a deep enough socket was hard. my strap had completely broken/rusted out and my gas tank was hanging, I'd guess 5-6 inches lower. several days before I used penetration oil once or twice a day, just to improve my chances. my truck is heavily rusted so only replaced the back strap only, as the front strap looked fine and didn't want to risk a sheered bolt/other problems.used a 14MM deep socket, 6 point from Menards, it was about .25 inches too short when adapter was installed, so I had to risk using adapter not fully inserted. also, used a big kobalt impact. this review is mainly to help people with fitment of the back strap. I will update if I replace the front strap.

These are not the correct set for ram 2500 with 35 gallon tank . The rear will fit fine the front however is about 3 to 4 inches short. I was able to cut old strap at mounting point which was not rusted and weld to new strap. However if hadn’t broken both straps and needed the truck fixed today. I would have sent these back . Shipping was fast and product seems to be made well besides fitment issues.

2002 dodge ram 1500 SLT 4.7 two door with an 8 foot box . My tank is a 35 gallon tank I believe . These straps are a perfect fit .. I did the rear strap first since that was the broken one , also my tank was half full . Once my tank was running on fumes I replaced the front strap . So since the tank was basically empty , the front strap was a snap to replace . So if your looking for tank straps , these are the parts for you . Excellent seller , very prompt shipping and excellent product at a very respectful price .

When i first unboxed ilooked at the front strap and thought there was no way it would be long enough after reading all the reviews and seeing how the reader mounted. The rear was the broken one so I wasn't horribly worried about it at this point. The rear strap came up a little short till I used a Jack to lift the rear of the tank high enough. Once I did that it fit perfect. I eyeballed the front before taking it off and realized the strap attached much lower than the rear did and it might actually fit. I took the front off and put the new one in its place. It went on much easier than the reader did though that was probably because I had the Jack already in place to hold the tank before I even took the strap off. Needless to say it fit just fine. As far as being sturdy, time will tell. Parts arrived 1-16-2020 and I installed them the next day. As long as they last a couple years I'll be happy

I'm not sure if this specified which tank size it works for but the shorter strap didn't fit. This should fit The 29 and 35 gallon bit i have a 34 gallon tank
