No cargaba la bateria principal, tenia un drenado de .530v que no deberia de existir en esos dos puntos, por eso decidi comprar el modulo, ahora entre los mismos puntos hay 0v, se arregló el problema.

I bought this DBCM from the Dorman store on Amazon and it did not fix my p305f CEL. I took my vehicle in for service and the GM tech had to replace this part with the GM OE part to get rid of my CEL and said the Dorman item was defective.

Great item save me a lot of time and money. don’t replace your whole fuse box just replace this one item GM does not sell this alone. You have to buy the whole fuel box. This is a great money saver and saver. I can now get my car. Inspected and registered.

This is the proper Fuse Block for the 2.5L N/A with Auto Stop/Start. This is a common replacement part for the P305F code which plagues these cars. It is within the Dual Battery Control Module, and this is the “computer” of it if you will. This is great if you know this is the issue and you can save a lot of money by replacing this one part.See another one of my reviews on the total system replacement part ($230~) which includes this and all the fuses for easy plug and play.

I purchased this product because I was having code P0305f in my 2014 malibu. I had my batteries checked front and back an they tested good. I checked the ground cables and they were tight and looked good. So I decided to change this device as there is no way to test its integrity. It looked hard, but was fairly easy. Make sure you disconect both batterys the one this device is on and the one in the trunk. You do not have to remove the fuse block. This device is not glued nor cemented to the fuse block either which was my fear.Remove the 3 nuts that hold the device and the 3 nuts on the other side of the fuses as you have to remove the 3 small fuses to remove the dual battery control module. Put it back together the same way you disassembled it, and your done. Took 20 minutes. Its been 2 months and the code is not back. The code even erased itself from the permanent codes logged on my code reader. Simple fix.
