For the mechanically inclined or shade tree mechanic / easy-out & easy-in process 30-40 mins max job exact fit bolt alignment on point. Plug n Play as some may know it. Dorman has not let me down yet I have bought at least 5/6 Dorman replacement products thru the years / hell come on I cant complain 2001 bought new in 2000 so 23 year old truck 480000 plus miles parts will give out & be needed.

This product fit easily and all the holes lined up.The only problem I had was not with the product but the supplier. I purchased it on April 13 and an April 16th was the advertised date. Once I bought it, the delivery date changed to May 1 but I did get it on April 22. I was disappointed with that.You do not need 2 people to do this job. Once you take the plastic cover off (make sure the all the screws are taken out) , I dropped the hood down and it was easy from there. No need to have someone hold the hood way up but but I drive a 99 Ford F150. It could be different in other makes.

i replaced the windshield motor and arms on my 97 F150 truck. this Dorman unit was easy to install and works great.
