I ran the codes and found that my front driver side ABS sensor had failed. I replaced the old sensor with this one in my 2004 Honda Pilot and it immediately fixed my problem. The old sensor was pretty well corroded in place. I needed to use a chisel and hammer to remove the old sensor.

I have a 2007 Honda Pilot with 255,000 miles. A couple weeks ago my ABS, VTM-4 and VSA lights came on my dash. I'm at the point where I'm not willing to put thousands of dollars into the Pilot because it's just not worth much anymore. I took it to O'Reilly for a quick code read and pulled 4 different codes - ABS, VTM-4 etc. One of the codes was for a wheel sensor. I talked to an employee & he said it's possible that the wheel speed sensor is not working & that is what is causing everything else to fail. The dealership wanted $400 to replace. I bought the sensor and watched a video. The entire process only took 30 minutes (left front tire) and the Honda is running fine again. Part worked fine - easy install - I'd recommend.

1st one last 2 years. Almost to the day. Replaced again. I will see if these last longer.I replaced both at the same time. Both lasted almost exactly 2 years.

Everything worked as it should but the bolt from ABS sensor to the bolt on the strut assembly is too short. I ended up putting on holder from removed unit and got it to work but did not fit as it should.

Item fit perfectly. Make sure to clean rust, debris and lightly lubricant the walls then tap lightly evenly into place.
