to replace and upgrade the rear suspension system found the right item using Amazon search facility but could not find the front bush, if changing the rear bush set it seems that the front would need to be replaced as wellthis item should include the FULL requirements for a full o/haulwould make it very easy to get the full kit and not search forever it seems for the missing front bush

We replaced both Leaf springs shackles on a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport with these. Install was straight forward and easy enough. The task is in removing the bushing/bolt left from the original shackles, as everything is essentially rusted/welded together.

With the fact that the factory parts are more then likely rusted in place, you can just cut the old stuff out and install all the new parts that are supplied after some clean up.

Legitimate replacement for OE shackles on a ’94 Ford Explorer. Shackle came with two bolts, bushings and nuts. Dimensions were all correct which made replacement easy.

The Dorman 722-009 Shackle Kit for Ford was/is a very worth while investment. The Kit came complete with everything needed to get the job done right. Amazon Delivered! The part arrived a week to ten days early, and the part was the same height from bolt to bolt and the shackle seemed to be a better quality than OEM.

I thought this part for a 1999 Mercury Moutaineer would be more money. Thank goodness for Amazon and the suppliers that work with them. The shackles came with bolts, self locking nuts and two different bushings. One was a straight medal type bushing and the other has the rubber insert. The later is used in the end of the leaf spring. Which BTW I did not replace. I don't know where the other would go because it certainly did not match the one in the frame of the vehicle. The drivers side could not go any smoother. Took all but 1/2 hour. The passenger side was a nightmare. Took 6 hours.Even though we had an air hammer, the upper bolt would not come out. PB Blaster, torch and a lot of elbow grease just would not get it out. We ended up drilling out the bolt and this almost did not work. Thank god for that air hammer. The new ones are both In. And the truck even rides better. Thanks again AMAZON.
