this is an exact fit for the driver side of my 2001 b5 audi. all therivet holes were where they were suppose to be. the pulley wheels aremade of plastic just like the oem -- so i'll probably have the samefailure problem in the future.

Terrible item. Had to take parts from my broken part to try and make this part work. Had to drill my own holes so that I could attach to window motor. This was a horrible, cheap, overpriced part and I do not recommend this particular site/option at all.

Not much else to say here - we all know that the Achilles heel of the stock window regulator is the plastic clips. Window operation is smooth and like new.

This was the only window i had not done in my 2001 S4 (passenger front ). This was well packaged and seems to be a nice piece, including the cable clips.Obviously one has to drill out the rivets,think there were 6 on this guy, and I replaced 4 with 1/4 x 1/2 hex bolts and nuts and 2 with 5/16 bolts (no access to a nut, so used larger bolts to screw in). This appears to be a decently made product. They are all mostly still using plastic (green bits) in pictures, so at some point they will fail, but my factory one lasted 12 years, so not horrible. I love that I could buy this product on Amazon and for the price and having it delivered to the house, it is the way to go.

The regulator worked as expected after it went to a metal shop to be reinforced. it had a small fracture in it that almost caused me further problems.

I wasn't exactly confident in this product from the get go. Its appearance seemed much less sturdy then the OEM part. Also I had issues with the wire staying on the spindle and the mounting using existing hardware seemed mediocre. Never the less, I got it installed and operational in a couple hours. The relief of having a functional window was great but only lasted about a year. It started with some grinding noises and then enevitanley the wire came back off the spindle and shredded the whole mechanism. At this point I think I will have to go back to an OEM product so I dont have to go through this trouble again.

I used this to replace the regulator on my 2001 Audi A4, front driver's side. The package arrived in good condition (unlike the VDO one).Tip: When you're screwing in the bolts for the window motor, add pressure as the holes on this regulator are self-tapping. Don't worry about there not being any threads.
