I did a lot of research, virtually all the items for sale that had 4.5 stars all had a few complainers, that's to be expected I guess so I narrowed it down to 4 choices and I chose this one as it is the only one made in the USA. I was happily surprised when I got it that it looked different from the picture. It looks just like the original coming out of my Liberty and it had a pig-tail for the wiring on it for easy hook-up.It's only been a few days, quiet, virtually same as original as far as speed and sound. I'll get back if something goes wrong

I’ve been selling and buying Dorman made aftermarket products for 30+ years. Always very good quality that you don’t have to worry about breaking or wearing out early. Perfect fit and finish . In this case the YouTube videos should have suggested removing all the mounting bolts before install. The reg was tighter than most cars I’ve done . So buy Dorman but remove the included bolts all the way before install.i like the extended wiring for the motor as the OEM was too tight. When unplugging the wiring the red tab has to be removed entirely from out to in after squeezing the ends together .

I bought this for my 2003 Jeep Liberty. it is an exact fit. The issue for Jeeps is the window units break quickly. the Jeep unit design is terrible.at least my window is closed. I should not have bought this. it immediately sounds clicky and strained. I will be surprised if it lasts very long at all. but my window is now in the upright position and closed.

This is the second window actuator we've had to replace on the Liberty which is is worth almost nothing now. The first time we paid $500+ for it to be done at a Jeep dealer with OEM parts. This time it took an hour in my driveway with a few screw drivers, tape to hold the window up, and a 10 mm. It's a little slow rolling down but it works great for the money. I'm mad at myself for not changing it out during the heatwave.

Purchased as an amazon warehouse "like new" item at a great discount. The packaging box was damaged as expected but the components were all undamaged. They fit fine in an 2003 Jeep Liberty but as some other reviewers have mentioned the window does not completely travel as far down as the OEM unit but close enough. A little bit louder than the OEM motor as well.

Part fit, but my window sticks up roughly 1/4-1/2 inch instead of sitting all the way down.Still better than the dealership parts which fall apart after a year.Took about 45 minutes with two people and basic tools (sockets) to installI would recommend this part for anyone with a jeep liberty who has experienced their window lifter failing.I will probably buy this part when the rest of my poorly made dealership parts break again. (plus you save yourself some money by not getting the dealership part and doing it yourself)

The Dorman window regulator fit perfectly in the front passenger door of my 2002 Jeep Liberty. That's what it was designed to do, and it worked. It was a piece of cake to install. I paid someone else to install it. The installer told me it looked to be an exact duplicate of the original. If another regulator in my Jeep fails, I will buy another Dorman unit for the repair. That is, unless I sell the Jeep before the next one breaks. I bought my Jeep new in 2002. I have 107,000 miles on it. I haven't had to replace much other than tires and brakes until this year (2011). I needed front wheel bearings and a new exhaust system. I live in western New York where they dump too much salt on the winter roads. I wouldn't have had to replace the exhaust if I didn't live here. I'm thinking about moving to California. Their politicians are as goofy as the politicians we have in New York. Same high taxes, too. I'd get much better weather in the move, as well as a long life from the exhaust system.
