Apparently others have made this fit. Since it's a woods machine I will try again but it does not fit right out of the box.

If you need a window regulator get it. I can't believe I waited so long to get one. Was super easy to install. And works great. Didn't know what I was missing out on.

The bolt holes don’t line up. Had to jimmy it to get most of them to line up. Wasn’t able to put one bolt in but the others were a pain to get it. Also you will need a tap to make thread the holes.

I knew that the electrical plug-in would need changed over to the factory style plug which it isn’t hard to splice two different wires together. But the actual metal frame for the cable is not even close to what came out of my 91 jeep.

While it fits a 1990 Jeep Cherokee it requires some alterations. The electric plug from the old unit has to be transferred onto the replacement (blue to blue, yellow to red). The original uses 1/4" Grip: 1/32" - 9/64"Flange Diameter: 1/2"Aluminum Rivet Steel Mandrel and this requires a 9/32 hole drilled to enlarge the existing holes.If these modifications were not required the unit would garner a better rating.

Bought with Passenger side unit and the Larlansz 6Pcs 12V Universal Car Power Window Switch Regulator Kits with Wiring Harness for 2 Doors.The manual regulator was impossible to find, new or used. Conversion was cheaper than a direct replacement with a manual regulator if I could have found it.DIY requires some knowledge of auto electrical modifications, but nothing difficult.Note: On 89 Jeep Cherokee the left side regulators are identical front and back as are the right-side regulators.

Bought this for a 1994 jeep cherokee. The fitment was very nice. Must tap all the holes first before you install.The motor is a lot smaller than stock. The motor just simply doesn't roll up the window nice. It is very slow and you can tell the motor is struggling to get the window moving.Would not recommend buying this product.

Bought this to replace the ORIGINAL unit on my father's 94 XJ. 25 years and 330K miles, it finally gave up. The motor was no longer advancing past a given point.Tip: You might need to cut the old regulator to get it out, due to the rigid design of this part. Also, drill out rivets on small brace of door (you'll see it when you get there).This one fits perfectly, and the construction is very close to the original, all the way down to the cable construction. Works perfectly.
